The African Communities Council Wellington (ACCW) promotes unity, participation and human capital development through a series of events each year. Each year promises to bring forth new and exciting events and these can be accessed by clicking the year icons. ACCW Events and Planning Sub-committee are tasked with the primary duty of presenting event proposals for approval to the ACCW Board, Interacting with sponsors and ultimately coordinating on the day with a host of volunteers and external stakeholders.
There are standing events such as the Board Workshop for new Board members, Sports Tournaments for developing and promoting sport talents and African Day Celebration which brings on a rich and diverse cultural display.
